I came to Ce La Vi during the day with a few friends. To enter, there was an entry fee of $40 per person at the ground floor of Marina Bay Sand and the $40 would then be a credit to your food and drink bill. Arriving at the rooftop restaurant and bar, we were immediately greeted with beautiful views of the city. After finding a section of seats to sit down at, we looked through the food and drinks menu to find the right mid-day light cocktail before we continued sightseeing. I got A Trip to Japan (whiskey, yuzu, rose, lemon, honey) and a Singapore Sling (gin, herbal liquer, orange liquer, cherry, lime, pineapple, grenadine, club soda) for my drinks. The former I selected from the Ce La Vei signature cocktails list while the latter was from the classic cocktail list and one that I wanted to try as it was known Singaporean cocktail favorite. Both were pretty sweet and personally I preferred A Trip to Japan since I preferred the whiskey base and yuzu flavoring while the Singapore Sling was very solid and one that I would recommend everyone try. For small bites, we got Truffle Fries which were fair and a nice pairing. I had a positive experience here and enjoyed my drinks. I think the really big highlight is the rooftop view and being at Marina Bay Sands with some upscale cocktails and drinks.

You cannot get a better location in Singapore. Atop the Marina Bay Sands Hotel (37th floor) with a view over the Garden of the Bay (gardens) and a wonderful view of container ships in wait it is clearly the best seat in town. At sunset, even in late July , the temperature is lovely for outside seating. The food is very good, the cocktails nice, the wine list very good, albeit on the very high side even in Singapore but please refer to the first sentence of the review. Why not 5 starts. Well, i guess it's because i don't like being rushed. The reservation gives you 2hrs at the table. The starters arrived before the cocktails (which only took at most 10 minutes after order). I don't like that and it means that they sat there while we had our cocktails and bread which came out very fast). Tip. Order the cocktails and NOT the starters. Let them come back a few times to try to get your food order. Slow them down. The mains were good, but my wife and daughter's beef was cold-warm, meaning they had cooked it and then let it sit. They clearly take the order, cook it all as fast as possible, or have already cooked it and then try to get it to table ASAP. Probably the trick being, order the cocktails, then the starter (after , say 20-25min), then when you are done with starter, order the main. Then after that dessert. Again, you have 2hrs and you don't want to be rushed out of that seat especially if you do what we did and get he prized sunset time slot. Oh, and i dropped $1000 for four of us, so it's not like i was trying to take advantage of that setting.....

Outstanding service and food. Great place for a Sunday bruch/lunch. We had the bottomless champagne which was an amazing deal for Singapore. I would recommend reservations vs. The wait list. The reservations list gets priority and the line is very short!

I came here to celebrate my 30th birthday after visiting the Dubai location and being blown away! Absolutely great ambience and the view from the restaurant was perfect. We got an assortment of different items but my personal favorite was the desert platter. The mango dessert was chef's kiss! The service was also top notch and the wait staff was on top of making sure everything was perfect.
